Middleburgh Renaissance Council

It is months later and many are still recovering from the storms and their disasters of 2011. We are still working on our studio and theatre. If you would like to donate to get our programs back on their feet please contact us on our contact page or call 518-827-6696. Please give generously, you make it happen. We hope all of our community gets back on their feet soon, and congratulations to those who are back in business.

It is truly a wonderful time of year, and Miracle on Main Street had lots of fun for all with goodies galore. The evening seemed perfect with the clouds just barely covering the moon. It did just keep enough of that cold out of the air, but not too much so. Despite the coldness there was just enough there that did make it charming. It was nice with that bit of the Upstate snow on the ground here and there. The children were all smiling with their eyes all a glow and Santa did sit there with his Ho Ho Ho for every photo shot by our dear friend Shelley of those beautiful children so happy and silly. How the  youth of our town and our county too, came to hangout with lots of good honest jolly. The chestnuts were roasted right there in the roaster as you walked by on the sidewalk. The stores so many new,  re-opened, and sterling with shine. Oh the grace that did flow from each smile that did munch, and many did walk on 2 feet and 4, or perhaps they they just sat waiting to soar. What fun to meet for a flash-mob and march around in a dance, tell stories, sings carols, and listen to our strolling violining friar and friends. Oh so much to see, so much to say, it is so hard to not go on and on. Well a thank you to all and to all a good-night, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and a joyous season of giving to all as we shared this Miraculous time!

“Miracle on Main Street” is a time of gathering. The fun is amazing. You have many things to do like, eat, dance, sing, and mostly have fun. This is an event where people from all over come. So take this invitation and come from one of Santa’s Seriously-Elfy Dudes!

“Miracle on Main Street” is a very special time. We are a town that has been doing this for years. Middleburgh may be a small town in Schoharie County, in the center of Upstate New York,  but we are a great big town in giving, friendliness, and caring.
